Sam is a two year old male cobalt linnie rehome. Got him from a bird shop that's across town that takes in a lot of rescues. Like most linnies he doesn't like hands, but never attempts to bite.

Ooh pretty Karen! I love the Cobalts :)
Now you have a Sammie and a Sam! Did he come named?

Yeah he did. After the bird fair (where I bought nothing) we stopped at a shop that is across town and rarely visit. They have a lot of rescues and rehomes. They also had a Meyers that I loved :-) I'm not sure we'll keep the name. Linnies don't seem to know their name so I could change it.

He is gorgeous! What a sweet little guy:) Any ideas on names if you change it?
How many more colours do you need now?

Karen is the pet namer in the family, so it's up to her. I need a lutino, green and mauve...there's also olive, but I'm meh on them.

Wow, you will have a mini rainbow in the cage:) I had to look up all those colours and I really like them all...the Olive would give you contrast:)

The Cobalt, turquoise, and Creamino you have would look great with a Lutino! I love yellow and blue in birds.

I don't understand genetics, but supposedly in linnies there are no true blues, hence why there are no albinos. There are only par blues (whatever that is) so we get creamino instead. Also females can never be split to ino. They can only be visual ino.

WOW, will you look at that STUNNING color! What a beautiful little guy!! :)

Many congrats on your addition.

He's beautiful! Congrats on your newest addition:D

Check out his color! Wow! However, the poodle in the background does not look impressed with the new addition. :)

It's a Maltese, but no, she's never happy when she's not the one getting the attention. She was even less impressed later even she got her bath and grooming.

Your new addition is beautiful! Your Maltese is darling too, even is she isn't impressed with the new family member.
