Meet my family

Hello,
I am the proud parront of a 5 year old Scarlet macaw boy, a 3 year old Blue and gold female macaw, a female Solomon Island eclectus, and 2 Blue crown conures, 1 bald and 1 feathered, and 1 snake. I am also extremely fortunate enough to work in an exotic bird shop and get to enjoy the wonderful personalities of the parrot world from our hand-raised baby parakeets to our large Hyacinth macaw. I tend to turn any and all conversations that I have to birds and I think maybe that is why I do not have many friends. Oh well, my fids keep me plenty busy and entertained. Well, nice to meet you all and although I have thousands (literally) of pictures of my many birds (both mine and at the shop) I have them on my other computer so they will have to wait until I am on it.

wow thats a pretty crazy family you have there.

I always get strange looks when i tell people that i have a parrot. To most of the world a big bird is such a strange pet. But my Blue fronted amazon LUKA is so nice and i love taking care of him. Welcome to the forums

Hi, the more the merrier - you keep being proud of telling everyone your a parrot lover. I am new on this site and have included some info about myself on the welcome forum. I wanted to know if you wouldn't mind giving my some advise on my boy - he's a Brown Headed Parrot and is only just over a year. I would be very grateful.
