Jack is 48 this year. He came into a local rescue about a year or two ago with another YN called Lucy. No one wanted to adopt both so Lucy found a home. Jack ended up sitting there for another year before I found him. His original owner was a Holocaust survivor that eventually grew too ill to take care of them. He is a wonderful bird so far. Haven't been bit a single time (Knock on wood!) He just gentle holds your finger to move it away.

Under my supervision, I plan to take him on hikes through different forests and as many outdoors places as possible. He deserves it, especially for being 48! He is defintely a shoulder bird, falling asleep on me as I play games. When Im at work or soon to be college, he is downstairs interacting with the whole family.
