Maybe it's the wine but I'm feeling a bit sentimental tonight, and I've never fully said this. Looking over at Parker I realize how far he has come since I've gotten him and I owe it all to you guys.

I came with some small bird care experience (no bigger than a conure) but very rusty. Taking on a bigger bird, On top of taking on a case like Parker and his barbering really threw me into a situation with a very high learning curve. Because of your help and support, and shoulder on more than one occasion, we smashed that learning curve and Parker couldn't possibly have landed in a better home.

From Parker and myself to you all, THANK YOU!!!!! This is a fantastic community and I couldn't have landed in a better place.

You've done some amazing work with Parker, Chris. You're both lucky to have each other :).

Parker is definitely lucky to have you. He is a beautiful baby and I'm so glad you've bonded. This forum is amazing and I learn something new EVERY day!

Chris, thanks for the kind words! More than that, thank you so much for sharing your journey with Parker from the beginning. It's been a pleasure to watch your handsome boy thrive in your care. You've worked so hard to give him the wonderful new life he deserves, it shows, Parker looks magnificent. I'm looking forward to watching more of Parker's touching success story unfold.

Look at that face!

Wine or no wine, Chris, posts such as this are MUCH appreciated! :)

Being a parront is a continuous learning progress IMO. You have shown and demonstrated 100% dedication and love for Parker, from the day he came into your life.

Thank YOU for allowing us to be a part of your journey! :)

Part of the reason this forum is such a great place to be is because we have members like you, Chris. This is more than just a site to gather information. It's a community. And as a community, we've cheered at every bit of progress that you and Parker have made together.

We're glad to be a part of that journey.

Very nice thread. speaking for myself. I just try to play forward what I learned. This is a great Forum.

You guys really are just the best :) I've been meaning to post the for a while. The wine just gave me a reminder to do it :smile036: I'm glad you all have been there for his development. It's just wonderful!

Chris you have contributed so much yourself. When I got Venus, I knew my biggest problem would probably be diet so I focused on that and people on this forum helped SO much. When you started sharing your work and insight with Parker like your lab results and thoughts, that was HUGE for Venus and I. My point, you are a a very valuable member of this group.

One of my favorite memories you've shared is you and Parker playing "Honk!!!", lol!!! You've shared great stuff and been there for us too, thank you.
