The theme for May 2019 was The Eyes Have It. Eyes are a window into the consciousness of a sentient being, their gaze on you, another bird, other objects. Dear members, you now have the unenviable task of choosing just one from a magnificent portfolio of images. Voting is now open and closes May 31. A winner will be posted June 1. I agree Wrench, very tough!! I don't have any dogs in this Race figuratively, But want to raise a concern.... I seen the picture of Noodles123 before and after, and on my laptop (MacBook Pro) Her eye is blurred, and the picture is a bit too bright! It's not a true representation of the picture IMHO Noodles123 originally posted. I would like to ask in all fairness to Noodles123 and every other person who have submitted pictures that this picture be cleared up just a bit. On my laptop, it almost appears that Noodles123 has a cataract or something, and is so bright, she is almost ghostly!! Just Sayin, in my opinion to be fair to all parties involved, and knowing I'm partial to Umbrellas anyway, so that out in the open, trying not to hold anything back, wanted to raise my hand and say the picture in the vote forum maybe the same picture submitted, but it's like it's overexposed!! Can this please be corrected, so this Beautiful Baby is seen as meant to be seen?

Second, My friend Ellie777 doesn't show her name above her picture of her Beautiful Electus Ms Ellie. It shows someone Else's name above Ms. Ellie, can this also be fixed, Just incase someone out their is voting on friend sake, rather than the best picture of the babies picture. Dorry to be a P.I.A. but to be fair to everyone involved. Thnx

This literally made me cry... my eyes teared up looking at these incredible pictures. I want to vote for more than just ONE!!!! How on earth am I supposed to choose only ONE? That's impossible!!

The image submitted by "noodles123" is the only official entry. It is possible a previous pic was posted and removed by the member. In fairness to all, we never manipulate photos for perceived quality. In some cases we resize from thumbnail to full-size for visibility.

I do appreciate the concern though!
It was the way that the auto flash +her coloring distorted the image.

I did see the picture a bit smaller and clearer before the post. Idk if you deleted the wrong picture or if by enlarging made the difference, but on my computer it wasn’t as clear. That was the first time I seen a picture of noodles, so I took a good look.

I haven't changed anything since the original...hmm...I am not sure if the one posted is the same as the one I posted or not, as it isn't listed anymore. I do think the original was a bit washed out though due to the nature of the photo /flash.

What an absolutely stunning collection of entries! Everyone, fids and parrots alike, really outdid themselves this month... both in terms of quality AND quantity! The number of entries for this POTM is one of the highest in the history of the contest! So thanks to all who have participated, and a special thanks to Scott for putting together such an inspired contest!

Let's keep the momentum going with vote participation as well! (Tough choice, I know. Lol!)
