I haven't wanted to feed Max pellets, because they are so expensive here in Australia... BUT.. then I got a bad lot of seeds... they were moldy, or at least smelling moldy.. 5kg of seeds went into the bin... And I ordered some pellets...

Max loves the pellets... and I don't think I will have any problem converting him... I still have seeds (new ones).. 2kg of pellets were just under $36..

Wow ,pellets are pricey down under, that's like 7$ per pound.

I think that's why we choose seeds... with a lot of other foods...

BUT... having moldy seeds, have changed my mind... Max will still get seeds, but he'll also get pellets...

Ive got Jimmy on Harrisons he loves them, he prefered the large pellets rather than the small as he can hold it and nibble away, I give them at night so they're in his cage in the morning then fruit and vege all day, seems to work well

Harrison's might be hard pellets to keep in a warm or humid place. Keep your opened bag in the fridge to help keep them fresh.
