so yuffie, what we thought was my lil girl is actually my handsome lil man :] hahaha i caught HIM doing the mating dance to one of the lil bubs im raising atm. yuffie is about 5 months old, are they meant to be doing it that young? lol and to 9 week old babies? haha it was pretty cute though, the baby sorta stepped back and took off haha

My girl is 4 years old and she does the mating dance plus she does the baby begging thing. She had a whole lot of people confused about her sex.

I dont really think it is a mating display, I find that it is just a display. She does it to anyone wearing a hat.

5 month old - this is most likely begging behavior learned as a chick. Birds reach sexual maturity about 3 years of age depending on the species.
