Mashka, Cosmo, and Lucy

Have not posted in quite some time now; so I thought I would give a quick post and photo.

We have had Cosmo, middle one in the picture, for just over 3 years and Lucy, the BG Macaw, for over 2 years. About a month ago the breeder I received Cosmo from contacted me and said she wanted to give me, yes give, another Grey, Mashka, the Grey on the left, because she, the breeder, was having health issues and was no longer able to care for her. So now we have 3 fids.

Mashka is doing pretty well with us now but it has been a bit of a struggle as she was very nervous and scared when we got her. Although I believe the couple we got her from, the breeders, were wonderful people but may not have done much in terms of socialization with her. We obviously have two other parrots, 3 dogs, two cats, and 3 kids. So I think most of her nervousness is just because there is much more going on it our household them what she came from.

She is slowing coming around. Hopefully, since she came from the same blood lines as our other Grey, that she will turn out just as wonderful.
