Martini is settling in....but LOVES Dave

so as Martinis sits on my shoulder while I type this....happily perching and grinding her beak, I thought I would update you on her progress.




she is settling in nicely!!! not so beaky today, as we just keep rubbing her beak and giving her scritches.



at one point she kept flying to Dave, he didn't want his ears to get chewed so he put ear muffs on, haha!!



she is a sweet sweet girl, she makes the cutest squeaky noises.

When Tyler came upstairs she flew right to him, and perched on his shoulder.


at the moment she doesn't seem to have any preference to us at all, she will happily perch with anyone who wants her.....the breeder told me she was super friendly with everyone.

she is now back in her cage, all 4 cats were in Daves office and he has to go on a conference call shortly, and can't have 4 cats meeeeeooooowing.

Now I look at Martini and want her back with me

She is SUCH a pretty girl! I'm venturing a guess here: Was Martini the first thought when you woke up this morning?

I woke up @ 5:30.....thinking about her, and I could not fall back to sleep....my eyes are a little heavy today:20:

she loves eating Mango, and almonds....she is currently napping.

you can tell she is use to men, she just wants to be with Dave. when he walks away she flies after him.

we keep bringing her back into the living room.
her breeder was a man, so it's not surprising, she needs to get use to use women, haha

oh I know!...it really is quite funny, even before he holds her, on go the ear muffs, and baseball hat, then he turns into a puddle of love for her.
