Maroon belly or green cheek conure? what's the differance?

How do I know if I have a maroon belly conure or a green cheek conure?
I was told these pair are maroon belly conures but I think they are green cheeks. I have to say maroon belly and green cheeks look awfully the same.

I'm not that good at telling them apart either, but I think those are Maroon Bellies. Hopefully one of our posters here who is better at differentiating chimes in. Now with the various color mutations on the Green Cheeks, it's even harder for me to tell.

I do have some conure books. I'll take a look and see if that helps.

Well, after looking at various pictures, I'm still not certain, but I think they do look a bit more like the Maroon Belly. Sorry I'm not much help here!

The Maroon-bellied Conure is often mistaken for the Green-cheeked conure. They are very similar in disposition and looks. There are some visual differences. The Maroon-bellied conure's tail is a green color on top and lightly maroon colored underneath, while the green Cheek conure's tail has a dark maroon color. The belly is somewhat darker than the Green Cheek's.

i cant really help you but i have to say they are both very beautiful, which ever one those are, the green is such a pretty emerald and the color so rich, and the maroon really makes it pop, they also have very pretty gold undertones!
