Making friends with the new harness

Ivy's harness is here! I'm trying to get her to make friends with it. She is currently carrying it around and nibbling it! That counts as good right? Is it bad for her to start thinking of it as a toy?

Not sure, but i don't think it is bad. When i got Gilbert his hoodie, he was freaked out at the sight of it. I let it lay on my lap when he was with me, and ultimately he started paying attention to it, moving it, mouthing at it, and he let me put it on him.
