Making a swing

So, I have a friend that processes apple wood (scrubbed, boiled, baked) for my chinchillas to chew on, and I asked her to send me a few larger sticks last week. They are about 1/4" in diameter and maybe 8" long, and I drilled holes in the end and strung them together with the soft wire I use for toy hanging, and added a few chewable pieces of pine.
Now I just need some cotton rope to hang it with and I'll have a three sided swing!
Does this looks safe enough and stable enough for two tiny lovebirds?

The sticks are almost exactly the same size as the one on the swing I bought from Petsmart.

That looks really good, i bet Daisy would love it if i made something like that!

Oh, good, thanks!! They fight over the swing they have, so I wanted one where they could both perch. :D

Looks great

I don't know if the wood needed to be processed or not, so I erred on the side of caution. :)
If anyone else needs processed wood, my friend does several types and sells it. Her e-mail is [email protected]
