Ok ok, I don't want to flood the forums, but I thought you guys would like these pics too! I LOVE Major Mitchells and there happened to be a cute little one at a local pet store the other day. It was playing/hiding in a big log and would pop out and "hiss" at people who came too close and laugh at them. It was REALLY cute! I wanted to steal him. :54: hehe. He let me pat him in the end, he was a big softy. Anyway, here are some pics of him protecting his little hidey hole log!

He was really, really adorable! Major Mitchells are cute enough, but something about them being fluffy and PINK makes them 10x cuter! He was definitely all bark and no bite, hehe.

I usually try to stay away from pet shops with birds because it’s usually depressing, but we went to check out some new HQ cages they had directly imported. They actually had some really gorgeous and friendly birds that weren’t caged at all.

Here is a picture of the sweet Red Tail Black Cockatoo they had;

And thank you! I think Lola and Mimi are gorgeous too! :21:

Can I ask which pet shop it is? Mad about Pets in Mountain gate have Major Mitchells and I love watching them. They also have a pet Alexandrine called Woody who greets you as you walk in and says " what's going on?" They also have a pet conure called Chicko who plays hide and seek, he is soooo cute!

If you love too's you should take a drive to Grants Picnic ground in Kallista. They have a huge open arena where you can hand feed the wild too's and there can be hundreds there some days! They just perch all over you and it is an amazing experience.
