SassyByrd (DYH Amazon) JoJo (GCC) Betty (GCC) DEARLY LOVED fids lost to “Teflon Disaster 12/17 RIP Pickles (GC),RIP Winston (Sun), RIP Lady PLEASE TAKE 5 MINUTES &TOSS OUT ALL YOUR TEFLON NOW!
So, as I posted earlier, Pickles my GCC who has always been clipped is not being given the chance to fly. She did one maiden flight around the room and landed nicely. She has since had a few short startle flights. She acts like she wants to fly but just won't take that last step. Do I just let nature take it's course and flying will eventually happen, or do I need to help things along? Thanks.

You can flap her on your finger by moving your hand down fast so that she flaps but she is still holding on with her feet. This will make her wing muscles grow stronger so that she can fly. You can also rain he to fly to your arm by first getting her to jump from her cage to your arm and than move your hand gradually further and further away until she has to fly. Millet spray is a great reward fir her every time she does it. I hope this helps and good luck. :D
