made toys for tea spoon

Tea Spoon only likes toys with pop sickle sticks on them so she can destroy them. My wallet cant keep up with her she tears them up so fast. Today my 5 year old stayed home with Dad (me) because his allergies were so bad and his meds make him sleepy. This is how you keep a 5 year old busy all day



last night we put all of our parts in food coloring and let them sit over night.



this morning Dad put them in the oven so they would dry faster



Toby worked very hard to make the toys just like Tea Spoon likes them

Wow, those are such colorful toys! I've never tried coloring my own wooden toys before, although I've been thinking about it. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks everyone. He loves making them. He does enjoy watching her play with the toys and points out to us that he made them. Tea spoon has come a long way since we rescued her but she still won't allow us to handle her so he watches her a lot. We have a new hand feed baby coming soon that I hope he can interact with more.
