Macaws do the funniest things!!!

Fregley has a funny thing that he does and I was wondering if anyone elses macaw does it, my B&G that I had years ago never and neither did my previous Greys or Amazons.

If he's in his cage and quite contented after playing he'll lean over, hook his beak over a cage bar, put his wing over his head, rub his ear with his foot and make a sound like a creaky door!
He'll do it on my shoulder too, he'll lean his beak on my ear then put his wing over my head too and scratches his ear - then if I rub under his wing he absolutely melts lol!

He looks so cute when he does this but also a bit simple lol, we call him Doughball when he does it

I love the little idiosyncrasies our fids have. Where they get them is interesting to ponder too. There is this cute thing pritti does when is is so happy with a snack treat that he contain himself... I wonder how it came about, like if he is doing his version of some human thing he saw, etc.

You just can't help but smile at their cuteness!
Freg creaks at me when he gets a tasty treat too, he doesn't get people food too often but when he does he's the happiest bird alive!!

The thing our birds do....lol.....Willie starts dancing if there's a song that he likes is playing. If you wave at him he will lift one of his wings up and wave back at you. He will raise both of his wings up and say Big Eagle. He does bunch of silly things that just cracks me up....then he would start laughing just because I was laughing....

Lol, Freg has me in fits of giggles all the time, he flies over to my husband says hello then tries to bite him!
If I'm dummy fighting him he'll get himself all excited and he does a funny squeak before running at me and throwing himself on his back
