Macaw accessories question

Hello,

We have bought Willow a bunch of cool stuff since getting her a month ago. We have a java tree stand and an orbit. A regular tree stand(that she finds rather boring). We have a boing hung in almost every room for her to play on. I was wondering what you all have that your birds really enjoy. I am always looking for ways to make her room more bird fun!!

I attach toys to the top of the cage and on the outside. She likes wyffle balls in toys [maybe you could string some together] She also has balls on the bottom that she kicks around. Lately shes interested in chains.

Fargo has his cage which is basically like toyland haha but then he has a big cargo net, which he loves!
3 different boings strung across like long rope perches in different sections of the room, then in one corner he has this viney perch which is super bouncy

He has a gym on a table at one side, and then a few toys hung up in different sections of the room!

And then at the window he has a large wooden ladder with different natural nuts on it, and this viney perch swing that hangs off the curtain rod which he sits on in the evenings!

You are soooo lucky being able to get java trees and an orbit, i have enquired about them both and java trees cant be imported due to some wood laws, and the orbit would cost about 600 dollars in shipping!

I am currently working with a business and getting a large custom made gym!

I found out yesterday that Fargo spends 4 hours during the day just sitting on the chair with me hahaha

Thanks everyone....Willow is so into foot toys right now. She doesn't play much with the ones in her cage. Of course she isn't in there all that much either. I ordered toy parts and have been making a new foot toy each day and now she has an entire basket full to play with.

I need to get one of those nets. That will be my next purchase. Maybe tonight

I too want to get a cargo net. I see how much fun Hahnzel has climbing on my bath towels so I know he would flip over a net. My only concern is getting rope thick enough so his little feet can't get trapped in it.

My macaws really like the boings as well and my tree like stands. I also have a huge java hanging stand for my macaws and baby girl adores it, she almost demands it when she is in the room. I also have a couple huge swings I've hung up. Most of my macaws love forgaging toys so I buy tons of them, I like the acrylic ones you can refill. And a really cheap thing is cardboard boxes, my macs love cardboard boxes to chew up as well as phone books. I also like to make sure the playgyms are loaded with toys for them to play with.

It takes Keiko at least a week to even touch a new toy...I just hang it in her cage and wait for her to decide to check it out... saves a lot of money that way...lol
