That's all folks ^^

I love the little cage netting thing outside, is that a cage or could you tell me what you did? I'm curious haha ^^

Im so glad that you all made it through safe and sound! Second..Lucy is So cute in her lil flight suit! And third...OMGoodness!! I love that idea for an outside cage!!!!!! I am SOOOoooo going to get one for camping! Im assuming it is one of those colapsable laundry hampers yes?! I just bought one for my son's outside toys but never in a gazillion years thought about it for my lil guy for a outdoor cage! Thanks! ;)

Actually, it's a reptile cage used for researching specimens and keeping pet reptiles outside! my beardie outgrew it and it's PERFECT for lucy!! They're super cheap too! I'll post the link to the site when I find it! There's a zipper door on the side and a velcro door on top. And inside there's a little clippy hook that's supposed to be for branches or heating lamps but it's perfect for her branch swing! She gets the sun and a nice breeze through the mesh and she's safely contained :) the bottom of the enclosure has a plastic guard that can be removed for cleaning and I personally lined the bottom with reptile carpet (made out of recycled water bottles and super easy to clean with a garden hose) the bowl with water is a reptile water bowl too haha

Thanks everyone ^^ I have to give credit where credit is due! the cage is by exoterra (a big name reptile company) and it's called an Explorarium. I'm still looking for the place where I got mine, they're more expensive than I remember... I have the medium one for lucy and there's SO much space in there

okay I found it I think!

I'm a fan of amazon so I do believe that's where I ordered it from
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=explorarium&x=0&y=0"]Amazon.com: explorarium[/ame]

and this is another kind of cage that I think is AWESOME and would be pretty good for a vacation cage, something easy to pack up and throw in a bag to take your birdie to the beach or mountains with you! or ON the beach! haha
I have the 38 gallon and the 65 gallon for my beardie, I'm so very tempted to get one for lucy too. They're a great company

Apogee Reptarium Reptile Cages

Andrea~Thanks for all the great info! These things really will be great, like I said especially for camping! Im thinking that they will keep all the bugs out and yet let the sun & breeze in and let my lil guy see out just fine!! Thanks again!! :)

no problem! they come with a zipper carry case that they fold up and slide into also, they're super easy to store ^^ and the nylon is pretty darn strong, I wouldn't try it with a macaw or anything... even in the large size (it's HUGE!) but she was chewing on it for a bit and no problems! and osiris never put any holes in the mesh while he climbed around the cage

I'm glad she's taken to her suit. Really cute. I love the cage also. Do you think a amazon could chew it up? I'd hate to pay that much & he munch a hole in it.

To be honest, I'm not sure if an amazon could or not! I wouldn't leave a bird outside on their own since it is made of nylon mesh, just to be sure! The stuff is meant to stand up to clawing iguanas and larger reptiles too so I think it'd be okay... they're not too expensive as long as you look in the right spot, I paid 30 for the medium cage, I think and amazon could spend a little time outside in that, the large would be a better fit for sure but I think maybe it'd be alright? Have to check the measurements to be sure. It's great in emergency situations though, Lu has a cage at my folks' house but for some reason if we got evacuated by the city, then the pop-up would be the way to go just for ease of assembly and it's not heavy by any means

and THANKS! :) Lucy isn't really a fan of her suits yet haha we're working on it... it's a battle to get them on

Awesome pic's! I have ordered a aviator harness for our Franklin...I can only imagine the "Fun" it's going to be teaching Frankie to wear it! Hahahahaha!!

I take our birds outside all the time in their "travel" cages, which for our conure, I use a large keet cage and I can hang it from the porch or even from the trees in our yard. Frankie LOVES to go in it, because he know's he's "going somewhere"...Now if he'll put 2 and 2 together with the harness when I get it.....;) LOLOL!

Hurricane! How SCARY! I do not live in hurricane country...to chicken too. This last one was quite a doozie, glad you came out of it safely.

Take care and give Lucy an extra wuvz from me. I NEARLY NEARLY couldn't say no to a black capped last month...I kept saying...I DO NOT need another conure...I DO NOT need another conure...NO...it was hard, but I DID talk myself out of it...and then a couple weeks later...I rescue adopted 2 tiels...go figure. 5 birds...I'm maxed out!

Thanks for sharing the pic's,

Toni

Oh that is too cool! I was looking for an outdoor cage for my guys. They always stare out the window and love when I leave windows open. I have extra cages but they're such a hassle to move in and out and store until I want to take them outside. This would be so cool to have. Just clean up whatever little messes and fold it up to store it. I'll definitely be getting one.

Love this!! Lucy is Soooooo adorable and I think your mesh cage is an excellent idea!
