Lovebird mutations questions!

Ok so I recently got this pair of proven lovebirds from a breeder I know in AL. The female is a Lutino and male is a White Faced Blue Pied I don't know their parents colors though. They are on eggs now and I am trying to figure out what the babies may look like and since Lutino is a sex linked mutation how to tell wether babies are male or female please help im going crazy with the info on google! and here I've attached a pic of the mom and dad.

your beautiful hen is opaline, I'm seeing little bit of orange on the tail?

you are going to have gorgeous babies, sorry I can't be of more help with genetics.
please post when they have hatched and are starting to grow, I would love to see them!!!

I think he may some hidden secrets as well he is the prettiest one!! Although i think my hen is Lutino cause if she were Opaline she would have a full red hood right??

according to this link, not always....guess you know more than I do, cause I didn't even realize opalines may have full red hoods.....still learning

there are some birds on the link that don't have full red hoods, but are opaline.

I have a lovebird (I think female) who is opaline, and she doesn't have a full red hood either.

I think most do, but some seem not to.

so you don't know the parents??what a shame, that would answer your questions.

what about the babies from the previous breeder, do she have any pictures she could send you? I'd really be interested in seeing those, it would give you an idea what your in for

I dont know the parents unfortunately and I could ask her if she has any pics of the previous babies.

then I would ask her, for pics, then you can study them and hopefully you will have some answers.
