I'm not bashing anybody's love for their bird no matter the size
But it's just been on my mind a lot lately, especially with certain interactions I've had lately, and conversations; I love small birds!
I have 3 great loves: Indian Ringnecks, Green Cheeked Conures, and Cockatiels.
Recently I have talked to a couple of people who have said various silly things like "I only like REAL PARROTS" and "It's just a parakeet" and "when will you move up to big parrots?"
Don't get me wrong, I love my Eckies and Pionus, and I adore the macaws and cockatoos and greys that belong to my friends. But I'm such a sucker for the little guys! And nobody has better tell them they aren't "real parrots"!
