- Ethyl the cockatiel, Henry & Clarke the IRN's, and Skittles the lovebird (my daughters)
I'm pet sitting a 'tiel at my place at the moment. Know the owner well, it's the single bird on the property, has only been around my birds before etc, so didn't worry about quarantining and popped him into the bird room with my two (Bird room...yes, I have one of those things now!).
As soon as the cage went down, Henry was looking out of the corner of his.
"PEEK a boo! Hey baby! What ARE you doing? ARE you a good boy?
To which the tiel, AJ, replied with a 'tiel chirp.
Henry replied ....with 'tiel chirps back. He's perfecting those with Ethyls help.
And this morning, Hubby walked though minus his top. Henry wolf whistled.
I totally know it might have been mouthing off and not completely in context - but they made me smile
Life is never boring with a parrot around!
