Fargo- Blue and Gold Macaw
Although my internet is sooo slow at uploading videos, i finally got some more of Fargo playing and talking!

This was him on the floor this morning, i had no idea what he was doing.. was cute that i got it on camera :p But he absolutely loves the floor!

Getting scratches on my arm, my hand was at a weird angle haha

Then one of us together, was trying to show how he goes on his back, although it doesnt seem like he was in the upside down mood ;)

He learnt in the past few weeks on how to whisper, which he does alot now, and if hes being noisy i just have to whisper to him, and he whispers back haha

Then it was raining yesterday, so he sat at the door in the curtain just talking to the rain

So cute! I think you posted the wrong video for the first one. You have Kisses twice.

Fargo is so sweet, It's going to be really interesting to see how he is during puberty. With all the training you've done I don't think your going to have much trouble at all :)

Oh thanks, Fargo jumped on the keyboard while i was typing it and it rearranged stuff! :p it should be the right video now! :D

I am interested as well! I am ready for when he changes into a crazy teenager, but at the same time i have a feeling he isnt going to be a naughty bird.. He has never bitten me once except for the time when his leg was caught, so he has never been aggressive.. but who knows! ;)

He is one year and 4 months old now, so i guess he is still in his babyish friendly sorta stage :p

Im cracking up with the last video :) He has alot to say to someone ! [Harlow whispers too,soo cute ]

I just love Fargo
OMG he has got a lot to say
Loved the last vid where he talks to the rain SO CUTE
Thanks for sharing

OMG what AWESOME videos, Tab!!! The one with Fargo on the hammock had me laughing hysterically, as I swear, he looks like he's at the beach, on a hammock in between 2 palm trees, just catching the sun rays....until you disturbed him. :D

And WOW he's got a lot to say!

Fargo is just PHENOMENAL! Come on over now and train my macs...please. :)

I am laughing so hard. It is snowing with ice pellets and weather is really getting me down because it seems like spring is NEVER going to get here and I am now laughing (takes a breath)

I love the rain video where he is getting all worked up. He makes that squeak sound just like Valentino. I think it is a baby macaw sound only for the ones they are bonded to. I love his Australian accent!

The last video I heard him tell you "Step up!" LMAO. You disturbed his lounging in the hammock and he told you. I had to play that one more than once because Fargo makes me laugh so much.

I so want to make Valentino a hammock. He would take it all apart though. He has undid his blankie so many times I get tired of retying it. LOL

Hahahaha i know, i shouldn't of disturbed him, whoops :09:

noblemacaw, thats interesting about the little squeeks! I love the sounds!

My favourite bit is at 20 seconds in the talking video, that bunch of 'hellos' it sounds super duper cute

In that video i didnt talk at all, he tries to say 'step up' a few times! :D

LOL Valentino is a master at undoing stuff ;)

Fargo undoes every single clip that holds toys up, and undoes bolts on a swing, but he wont undo knots which is good :)

Glad you all enjoyed the videos :D

Wendy i would be more than glad to come and train your macaws :09:

You put so much training, time and love into him I could never imagine him having a big flip in personalitiy. I never had a large bird like a blue and gold macaw but Clover is over a year and I doubt she will change that much personality wise.

Thanks guys! :)

Unfortunately no, I had a blue quaker when i was a bit younger, he was my best friend, just like Fargo is now, we had the same bond, would do anything for me, and one morning i woke up and he was gone, of course i blame myself to this day, although so many breeders told me sometimes these things just happen.. It is still the saddest thing that has ever happened to me, and he still has a special place in my heart.. which is why i am so protective and paranoid about Fargo! But Fargo has brought that birdy joy back into my life, and i feel so honoured to be his guardian, dont think i could of found a more special boy to have that bond with again!

Anyways!!!! now on a brighter note, pictures of Fargo when he clings to my chest and leans his head in! haha

Those videos are great. He seems to be very smart and catches on to things quickly. Are all Macaws as smart as Fargo?

I am not sure, i think with training they can be?
I spend most of my time with Fargo, so he is very well trained and we have an amazing bond!
but i still think he is special haha

Heres a video of most of his tricks, he learns very quickly :p
