I was bored, and thought of our member "LoriBabies"... I got out my paint and canvas and painted a lorikeet...I know...it's bad but i just wanted to share it with you guys! (the head is so ugly) :p Enjoy!

That's not ugly at all! You're very talented! I couldn't do that if I tried. The blue head colour is spot on. I'm so glad my babies inspired you :)

:D tomorrow i'm going to add the blackish red streaks on the head, and giving it feather dimension :D I'd still like to see a video of your babies in action :D

Make sure you post it, please, love to see that! I will try and get a video of both of them, Pistachio still isn't Zazu's biggest fan so they tend not to spend too much time together haha

i really like it! it's simple, yet, i like the overall composition of it. i think the colour scheme is very well done. :D

Thanks :D Me feather dimension is so hard to do with paint... especially a lorikeet with those deep, blue head feathers. 0_o

You paint way better then I.....lol....You don't wanna see my painting....

Personal artwork is always a wonderful talent/addition to someone's life/home. I always admired the talent and i feel i have a 'visual' talent to a point and could likely be an excellent photographer if i tried, but i definitely lack the manual talent to paint/draw. I started out an art history minor because i so appreciate visual art, but again, more in a visual aesthetic way than manual crafty way. My niece is pretty talented too and i have asked her to draw me a pencil sketch of my house that i can frame and put on a wall in my home. Something very unique and special about that, that can't be replaced.
