People mainly breeders always try to get ridiculous prices for them as babies, but usually goes for around $1500 for younger ones. I always get people trying to sell one. The guy I recused Cooper my male umbrella cockatoo from had 4 of them about a year old and was asking $700 for them and that was last summer. It is better to rescue a one that need a home instead, unless you are stuck on getting a baby?
It supply and demand. Depends on area?sometimes, sometimes they are 1000
(we are talking babybirds here)
it depends who you know and where you buy (breeder or shop, friend or stranger)
There are no fixed prices afaik.
As everywhere: if they are supercheap (350) there is something wrong.
(I am not a breeder or a broker, so I am just repeating what I hear and see)

When I got Levi he was asking $2200. I paid cash and got him for $1800.
I never see them for under 2500 and higher these days.
$700 is a steal if bred well.
