- Senegal Parrot named "Kane"; Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure named "Bowie"; Blue Quaker Parrot named "Lita Ford"; Cockatiel named "Duff"; 8 American/English Budgie Hybrids; Ringneck Dove named "Dylan"
So I have finally made the decision to start looking for a Blue-Crowned Conure...I have always wanted to bring one into my family, and actually originally was looking for one when I found my Senegal Kane. There's no rush, I want to find the right bird, and honestly there aren't any options in Pennsylvania that I've been able to find.
I'm open to either adopting an adult or buying a new baby, that part doesn't matter to me. I'm also open to adopting an adult who "needs some work" and that isn't hand-tame, that's not an issue either. So while I'm doing my own private search, I figured that I would post here as well, in case anyone knows of a Blue-Crown in need of a home, or knows of a reputable breeder of them, as there don't seem to be many at all...
I live in Central Pennsylvania, but I'm willing to drive a good distance to get the bird. I drove to Raleigh, NC to pick-up my Senegal, and I drove to Long Island to pick-up my Quaker, so no problem at all driving out of state, or across states for the right bird.
Again, no rush, it will happen when it happens.
