Hi,
This is my first post here. I have two Eclectus' and I'm currently in the process of getting a Toucan. My Eclectus parrots have nice cages but I need a really big one with narrow bar spacing (7/16"). Toucans require large cages as they are very active and hot around in their cage all day. I've been told to find a cage that is approximately 6'X6'X3'. It can be a bit smaller though. The reason for the narrow bar spacing is that Toucans sometimes stick their beak out of cages with wider bar spacing. My breeder had 2 Toucans that stuck their beak out sideways and quickly turned their head breaking off their beaks (horrifying to even think of). Also, I'm in Canada so I would need to get it from someone who ships. The Toucan is a Keeled Bill Toucan and is in CITES. I have to get it from the US so I'm still waiting for the paperwork to go through. Any help would be appreciated.
