Looking For Bird Sitters In St Petersburg FL

Hello All,

My name is Mark and I live in sunny St Petersburg, FL. I have two Scarlet Macaws one Female (Sammie)(7yr) and one Male (Titus)(5yr). I am looking for a trustworthy bird sitter in the Tampa St Petersburg area. I had boarded them at my vets office in the past but they said they were too loud and disturbed the dogs and cats.

If anyone knows of a good service that I can take them to for up to one week I would appreciate a recommendation. I will want to visit the facility and refs before I leave my babies with anyone.

Hey Mark. Welcome to the forum. I live just across the skyway from you. How long do you need a sitter for. Keep them in your home? My wife might be interested. I'm not big on introducing new birds around ours. Normally i could put them in my quaratine building but i have new birds in there now. Get enough post so you can PM. Or one of the mods can give you my contact info. PS I'll check with a couple of local vets i use. I have a good vet friend in Largo but I'm not sure he boards birds.

Cruise from February 7 through the 15th. I would like to board them where there will be with somebody all day. If that doesn't work I don't mind paying someone to come to my house a couple times a day.
