Hello,
This is not the first experience I've had with parrots. My last parrot was a blue fronted amazon parrot and my daughter who is 18 now was just a toddler at the time. I put an add in the paper that I was going to sell my parrot cricket or trade her for a baby. Well to make a long story longer. A gentleman showed up to my home and said he would give me one of his baby blue fronted amazon parrots. Well the telephone number I used to contact him with magically disappeared from the face of the earth and I never saw a baby Blue Fronted Amazon again.. I got taken big time. I'm hoping that someone out there would have a parrot that they want to rehome with a loving family.

Yours.

You put an ad in the paper in order to trade your old bird for a baby bird of the same species?

Someone promised you a baby bird, and you gave that person your bird? You never received the baby?

Is this what you're saying?

Trade with a family member that way, hm.. or there was a special reason?

Forgive me, if I seem a bit naive here, but are you saying you wanted to either sell your BF that you have had for alot of years, or Trade it for a Baby?? If this is correct, then for what reason did you feel the need to do this?? :(

I doubt we will ever know the answer. Poor bird must feel so unloved. And you wonder why parrots bite people.
