My Gcc, Conlan, will be 3 in November... Holy heck how time files lol.

She's my diva. She's not into being pet, but boy oh boy, if she doesn't get her cheek scritches as soon as I get up, she'll smack her beak on the bars and strut her stuff screaming until she gets them!

She's also developed this kind of obnoxious habit. When I read she thinks it's her job to 'balance my glasses' so I can see. She sits perched on the arm of my glasses next to my face and will shake out, lift a foot, and truck her head in my hair and sleep. That's all she wants :). Plus her being potty trained is a plus!

And if I have a book and she's not out? She'll scream, strut, bang around, and throw a total tantrum. That's her preferred outside time. And since all she wants is it sit and relax I don't have to worry about chasing her around the bed (glares at Jenday, Kellan)

Little beast is in for a rude awakening next Tuesday as the new book in my favorite series is being released... I always take the day off so I can read it, which only takes me about 4 hours to read the thing.

Connie isn't allowed out for that time due to her physcotic hatred of my book mark, which she will lose her mind of she sees. She is NOT gonna be happy ROFL.

This is all I have to say in regards to conures and glasses. He either did that, sat on my shoulder trying to pull them off or when he was really into it he would hang off them with a claw in my ear violently shaking them. The glasses were truly the enemy

How dare we humans wear glasses! A few of my fids cannot wait to either pull them off my head or beak the lenses. I learned the hard way polycarbonate lenses are rather soft and will suffer tiny dents from beaks.

When I drive and wear my sunglasses sometimes my vision is obscured by a conure face sitting on the sides looking at himself in the mirrored glass.

I read a LOT and my bird just jumps over the pages sits on them picks a treat, and climbs back up my arm. I also read in bed and he jumps from pillow to pillow and explores there's nothing to say reading can't enjoy a conure walking across your book.

Off topic but if you have multiple birds, do they go into each other's cages? Ducky and Kermit often go into each other's cages and eat each other's food but Bluebell shows no interest in the other birds' cages.
