leg band reading

Pal my new cockatiel got his leg band removed today at the vet. So I was wondering what does it read? Is there any way to know what it says? It is purple, it was a full ring. The text says: ARC 5018

To be honest, no. Breeders can order their bands with whatever they want on them.

Oh ok. Well then I guess I will never know what it means. I do know he is 10 years old so I guess that's all I need to know from what the band could potentially say.

Buddy has a leg band and I researched it two years ago when I got him, then sporadically. I've never been able to find his origin. He's now 26 yo so I doubt I'll find info but I do check. I got him at 24 yo.
