Learning from the new Goffin

Well my wife's baby Goffin Cockatoo is teaching Lucy & Phoenix some bad habits lol. Gizmo the Goffin is just rotten. She'll hop off her stand run to your feet then plop her head on your foot to get you to pet her or if you go to get her to step up she flops down so she isn't able to then starts rubbing you with her head so you pet her. The greatest is when you go to sit her down she will run up your arm or jump to your other arm. Well now Lucy is doing the plop down thing when you go to get her to step up, and Phoenix will climb up your arm as you got to sit him my a perch when he used to love being on a perch lol.

G2 ........ They're like 2 year old toddlers ...... with A.D.H.D. ........on CRACK.

Our G2 was really spazoidal for the first year. She turned one years old back in March and since then she's really calmed down quite a bit. You can actually hold her now and have a serious bonding session with her.

Oh the Goffin loves to snuggle if you sit on the couch with her she'll crawl up on your chest, and fall asleep or come up to your shoulder then spread one of her wings out put her head under it and start rubbing on you to pet her. Outside of her cage she is pretty calm, and wants to go exploring or be held. Inside of her cage she is crazy though. She will do flips from one perch to the next, and just go nuts. One of her favorite things is to hang upside down, and scream like she is stuck, and hurt so you go to check on her, and as soon as you open her cage to reach in to make sure she is okay she jumps up on your arm, and starts climbing up it lol.
