Thanks! It really was a lazy Sunday; I was watching the golf tournament when Eliza decided the gap between my leg and the sofa cushion was clearly custom-made for caiques. So she just flopped over into it. Certainly not the most dignified thing she's ever done, but she just lay there in total bliss for an hour while I attended to her every need. (So what else is new?!)

Henry came over to see if there was room for two:

He quickly realized there wasn't, so he flew up and engaged in that most holy of caique rituals: Hair-surfing!

Joel, you should know me and my theories of proper bird care better than that. Just a little single-malt scotch in their drinking water every day. It takes the edge off. Why this simple--yet incredible useful--technique isn't mentioned in all the parrot-care books I have, I'll never know...

Yes, the daily wrestling match happened later in the day. That's why I rarely watch sports on TV...who needs that with Eliza and Henry around?!
