Okay so totally off topic for birdies, but had to share!! Byron and I drove down to Bethesda (right outside DC) for a show at the Bethesda Jazz Supper Club. If you don't recognized the name, Landau was the winner for America's Got Talent couple years ago, he was the homeless car washing dread locks who came out and said he was singing Sinatra. It was a huh moment, til he opened his mouth... I've been a fan since!
The show was great and had a few surprise guests, for anyone older then me or any oldies fan, in the crowd was one of the guys from the Drifters and one from the Platters. They both came up and sang (separately),Joe blunt did On Broadway and then other guy (cannot remember his name) came up and sang Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, then they had Landau joined in and they sang My Girl. Got a short video clip of that, but its terrible, but does show the energy and how much fun it was.

If you watched that season, I do not usually watch, not before or since, but say that season from beginning including his audition. He is just the most humble guy you could meet, he knows he is lucky and blessed for the opportunities, tho he has worked his behind off. Truly one of the talented people who deserves all the good that comes their way. Guess never have to wash a car again including his own!! Here is his audition video, just in case and so you can see the Frank Sinatra reincarnate!!

We had beyond a great time.. I know he is coming to Cape May in Jersey, if you are driving distance, its an amazing show!!
