We are replacing the floors on my house with laminate floors. The kind we are looking at is engineered to fit together, no glue needed.

However I'm worried about the birds. The room they are in is not getting done. But just outside their room doors is getting done.

Will it bother them? Or would they be safe since it has no glues?

And, the Answer is: It depends!!!

Engineered Laminate Floors are made near everywhere in the World and the materials used are just as varied! All the way from top quality, very safe materials and glues to some of the most dangerous stuff that have been found harmful to Humans. The really bad stuff needs to be open air laid-out stored for multiple days. And, some of those products have been so bad that they had to pull it back because even after 30 days the Off-Gassing was still dangerous levels present in the home.

When selecting Engineered Laminated Floors, where it's made is more important than its cost. We buy from the locate Hardwood Floor seller /installer and use what they use!
