Kiwi VIDEO (head flicks)

So fingers crossed this video actually works, but this is Mr. Kiwi in action lol. Most bird like to make noises to show they're happy, but Kiwi, well he likes to give us "head flicks". And sometimes he even rolls his little head around under his little wing if he's REALLY excited. He's always done it (since we've had him), but since we encourage it so much, he does it all the time now. Especially when my husband is working out. It's hilarious to us :green He didn't want to do much when he saw the camera, but he finally got into it:

(P.S.That thing at the end of the video is a THICK plastic broom handle (the broom broke) my husband is cutting down to use as the perch that props open the play top of his cage. Kiwi is in love with the stripes)
(P.P.S. I apologize in advance for my voice, I never "knew" it sounded so irritating until I heard myself speak on camera lol)

What a fun video! Thank you so much for sharing. My Hunter does similar head flicks, and then sometimes she goes all out and does a full blown Steve Wonder on me. But FAST...like Steve Wonder on speed. :32:

Jersey- I wonder if it's a "zon" thing? Does your bird do it when he's happy too? Kiwi can go "Stevie wonder on speed" fast too, he just wasn't into getting too flashy on camera

Yes, Hunter only does it when she's happy and/or excited. She starts off slow, but then REALLY gets into it. I get dizzy watching her sometimes, LOL.

I probably sound like a total idiot, but I only JUST realized yesterday that my camera could take video (I've had the camera for almost a year.....):30:, so this was my first attempt at a video/editing. You have all been very kind:54:

Hoping as the weather warms up to take Kiwi down to this pretty local park and "fly" him around and let him wander in the grass and get some videos of that. Back in Arizona, he LOVED doing that, and I would sit there wishing I could get video of it
