Evocative. Thought provoking. Tasteful...
My bird has been said to be many things, none of the previous statements amongst them. May I present to you my "bored on a Sunday afternoon" project I've titled "Kiwi in motion: The good, the bad and the downright shameful". It is a gritty look into my reality with this seedy creature, who does what he wants when he wants and how he wants.
I call this one "complete confidence" because if you aren't ridiculously confident in your abilities as a physics defying avian, you wouldn't be precariously dangling by your back 2 toes off a slick wet metal water dish while flopping your head about and spreading your wings like you took some kind of birdie drugs.
And this one I call "Brazen stupidity". He sits there and chews his perch right out from under his feet (he is wet in the photo BTW)
I'm trying to train him to stop bending the space-time continuum to his whim, but he's been unresponsive to training as of yet...
His wings almost make him look majestic!
Almost...but then there's that inconvenient reality of, you know, the truth....
It's hard to visualize what could even be happening in this photo. I assure you it was shocking, and heinous, and not necessarily restricted by the laws of nature as we know them to be.
Why yes, that is a 420gram good sized amazon curled up bathing himself in a small water dish whilst his wing just dangles there like a dead jellyfish. No, he was in no way harmed or injured by this action, he was quite happy to do it in fact. I actually remain unconvinced he contains any bones!
