I should have known it wouldn't work out with him being so much smaller than Zilla. She has never liked birds smaller than herself, but for some reason she wants to make friends with all the big macs!
He wants attention, but he is VERY cage aggressive! He yells and lunges at me if I even dare to walk within a few feet of his cage and will lunge at my face if I am doing anything inside his cage. I live in an apartment and having a place away from his cage is just not feasible in the long term. I won't make him live in the back bedroom and only bring him out for a few hours in the evenings, that's not fair to him.
He eats a good diet (no pellets) likes his veggies, fruits, berries, pasta, rice and beans. I have been giving him a Tablespoon of seed mix daily. He LOVES sunflower seeds so I have been rationing them and he only gets 4 to 6 a day.
I'm located in Gresham, OR and will drive a reasonable distance to get him to a good home with someone more experienced than I am. He doesn't have a cage (he is in a borrowed one for now) he will come with a few of his favorite toys and perches.
I'm not asking for a re-homing fee for him, just a good home with someone who will take good care of him.
