Kaytee cockateil pellets

So I couldn't get my hands on pellets like zumpreem or harrisons but have got this instead can budgies eat this.

Budgie won’t like that size and shape. You could pound it into smaller pieces, might help.

Personally I’m ok with my budgies eating seeds and fresh leafy lettace and veggies.,
I do keep a dish of crumbled pellets and they will nibble on those

Budgie are one of the grass parakeets, they evolved to eat a lot of seeds, and plant veggies

I do give them seeds and veggies if they arent interested in these pellets I might just feed them to my ringneck. So it's okay to just feed seeds and vegetables are pellets not a necessity for budgies.

I hope they do eat it one of them nibbled on it. But it's only been in the cage for a few hours

Breaking into smaller pieces as Laura suggested might be helpful. Another thought is to try Harrison's conversion protocol. Worked well for my entire flock, should be helpful for any brand. https://www.harrisonsbirdfoods.com/using-our-foods/small-bird-conversion/

It might.... mice or rats love seeds and some types of pellets.

My Conure was disgusted with the Kaytee pellets. I crushed them to powder as suggested on here,and sprinkle them on her fruit and veg,and now shes happy to take them from her dish. I dont think she likes the green ones as there is always a green soup in the morning!LOL.
Too expensive to waste,but I expect your Ringneck will like them.

Thankyou it's only cause I was holding it otherwise it's too hard for them so I will most likely crush them.
