Congo African Grey
Hi all, I'm so thankful for this forum. I've had African greys mostly all my life and struggled to learn the bit that I had until I landed here at parrotforums. Thank you for all the lessons and wisdom. Thank you for a fun place to brag on the snobbiest grey alive, Nigel.

My work is tough, I work in Malawi as a missionary in church work and community outreach feeding and schooling, and my stress relief is having Nigel. His silly antics make me laugh. I didn't know until I came to parrotforums that other bird people like me existed.

Thanks everyone.

And, I beat that it did not take long to determine that this place is filled with such people! Talk about blending right in - like that piece to the puzzle that one has been search for and there it is right in front!

You have expressed in words what so many of us feel! Thank-you! Oh, and Nigel also. :D

Well, thank you too! You are part of the vibrant tapestry that makes ParrotForums a wonderful place to contribute, learn, and have fun!

Ain't it the truth?
This place helped the Rb lead a happier life, and also truly and truly improved my marriage (allowing me and my ol' man a sounding board and laughing location... regarding coping with the Rb).

I agree wholeheartedly. Before this forum, I thought I knew something about birds. After all, I'd had a second-hand IRN for a while. Now I realize that I'd simply had a bird living in my house, I'd done almost everything wrong (at least he didn't get a 100% seed diet), and his life might have been much different had I known about this place.

Now, at a better time in my life to share my home with a parrot, I know that Bumble is getting a much better parront because of all I've learned here - and that makes her a much better bird so it's win-win. Thanks from both of us.
