Parrots
1 YNA (Bingo)
1 OWA (Plumas R.I.P.)
1 RLA (Pacho R.I.P.)
2 GCA(Luna,Merlin) The Twins
1 Congo AG (Bella)
5 Cockatiels
Took some pictures of my Amazon buddies and wanted to share.

Pacho is easy to take pic. She doesn't start moving when the cage door opens.
The red is so bright and the way the colors change and merge on her cheeks is like watching a sunset.

Bingo is hard to photograph. Always on the move . Holding a camera just gives him something else to try to get a hold of.

Wow! That is the most stunning red-lored Amazon I've ever laid eyes on. That's what a healthy red-lored is supposed to look like.

Great photos are much easier to create when the subjects are equally great!

Amazon's are Amazing and Amazon's Have More Fun!!!

Such brilliant colors on Pachos' face :D

I've seen that "look" before with Bingo too

Thanks for sharing,Wes :)

Pacho is gorgeous! I know you've had her for a long time, has her red head feathers "spread" with time like other amazons have certain head colors spread with age? When you see younger RLA's it seems their red/yellow are not blended like hers.

Bingo looks like a typical amazon- always into everything:p

Wow, Pacho is one stunning bird!

You did manage to capture Bingo in a great pose, tho!

It's difficult to say. I bought her more or less as a rescue. Someone turned her in to a pet shop to sell, one look and she took to me right away. I think she was 12 years old when I bought her in 89.

We bought Bingo at 1 year old. he had no yellow on his neck at the time so I know he was a juvenile. I also remember him going through puberty though we did not know why his behavior was so erratic.
