Hi again, ok.. So billy seems to be fine when i am with him. He is eating well, and has the most loving temperament. He is learning to play. Well, chew up cardboard and mess around with things my mum called twiddlies. But when i go out to work, and when i put him too bed he holds onto the bars, twitching his wings pretty violently. Like he is scared to be putt away, or left alone. I read somewhere they do it out of excitement. I know this is not that at all. Any idea why he does it and how i can help ease the fear? I know i have a long way to go with him, but I'm sure my mum would be proud of how far he has come. Xxx

It sounds like begging to me, Rosie and Kinji both do it.

Rosie would hold her wings out and shake them a little or a lot, and her head would twitch backwards and she peeps. She is always really skinny when she does it too. she used to do this a lot if I wasn't close enough to her when she was down stairs, or if someone is between us. Now she rarely does it.

This is not excitement for Rosie, it is her begging for me to come back and she was really worried I would leave her and not come back, or just felt insecure with me being 10+ feet away.

Many of my birds will do this behavior when I go to leave the house for the work day or whatever.... It is perfectly normal IMO and I agree with what cooper stated.
