Aphrodite - red throated conure (RIP)
Parkerās got a FUN behavior going on right now: he is painfully reactive to things in his environment, screaming at the slightest movement through the window, or even is getting up from the couch.
Heās going through his annual heavy molt right now - looks like a bird exploded in his cage, poor thing - and while he doesnāt usually get moody during molts, but this timing is...curious. And he is slightly off this year.
Anyoneās birds become more reactive/vocal when their molting (not just moody, but specifically motion detectors and alarms). Canāt say Iāve ever heard this before from anyone else, but figured Iād take a poll here.
