Hello All, Don't expect too much inter action with me as I'm not into the cloud social thing. I can't understand why people in South America that only speak spanish want to be my "friend" just because I bought some orchid software from a guy I din't know in florada. Anyone living in Ontario or Vancouver may have seen a photo of my little girl in their paper last winter. Apparently 17 editors thought it was news worthy to see an old guy and bird dart from a warm car to a warm building during a snowstorm. By the time the photo was taken both of us were so cold we wished we'd stayed home. At least I haven't notice animal rights activist hanging around. D.D The first time I tried it Didn't but I may have it right this time. D.D.

Welcome Luna. Folks here are friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Tell us about your aviary.

welcome! your macaw is gorgeous! you'll love it here!

Welcome! I love your userpic. Is that the two of you? :)

welcome~ the greatest part of forums is you can be as involved as you want to be.... love your beautiful girl!

I think you will also find that you will want to make friends here just because the non bird people in your life aren't that interested in the stories.

In responst to all the welcoms;- Thank you one and all ! BillsBirds Our aviary is a two story home. My wife and have free run of the whole thing. The remaing 50 or so retired breeding lovebirds have appartments in the conservatory these rarky get out even when I leave their doors open when I hang seed cups on the inside of doors. ( Cannary cage fronts. ) The laundry room was the nursery and still has a few, Stripper who began to pluck when seperated from his brother in a petstore. Tippsy who both his mother and foster mother knew should be allowed to die but five or more years after our intervention seems very content even having breathing problems and two upper beakes. With the exception of the female Alexandrian the remaining ten have free access to the remaining rooms. This gives the four smallest ,cocketiels, almost 60ft with two right angle turns. They usually do this at full speed especialy when they want to be put in their cages for the night. And of course waiting at the farthes poin to be carried by their human. Remy, Yes thats us. At halloween she dresses as a parrot and I go as her pirate. Triordan, I had a reply but can't read my note and i don't know how to go back without losing what I've typed (painfully slow ). Roxynoodle, Note says "is correct" Good luck D.D.
