- Pickle who is 22 years old!
I'm new to this forum but not new to owning a parrot. I've had Pickle since I was 13 years old; she was born the same year I was so we're both 22 years old. She's a beautiful, healthy, and lively Blue-Fronted Amazon.
Pickle's previous family ignored her and had a "zoo" full of different types of pets in their house. She didn't receive the attention she deserved so my mom took her in and became part of our familly.
I was relatively young and I've never had a pet besides a rabbit until then so we were extremely excited to have her.
I remember there were times I would get frustrated and cry. But, somehow, Pickle would always find a way to make me laugh; by making a funny sound or sometimes would cry with me.
