Anybody ever heard of this company?
I can find a website but they only show toys, and google images search is just as fruitless.

The rescue I help out with gave me an old JungleTalk playgym, it looks like its missing some stuff.

It has the frame/stand with a slideout tray, and one dowel that goes across the top, and there are 3 metal-framed/wooden rung ladders that are made to fit together and onto the top dowel somehow.

Anybody have one of these things, Im guessing they are something older and discontinued.
Ill try to get pics of what I got tomoro, its outside and its dark...

I just wanna find out what it supposed to look like, maybe I can DIY what it needs...
Otherwise its getting turned into the Parrotship Im gonna build for Pirate.

So this is what I got....
A series of ladders that connect together via the large main dowels.
At the top of each ladder is a 4" tab with a hole drilled thru, which is where whatever the rest of this thing had used to attach to.

Im not even sure that how i have it here is the correct way to set up the ladders, but its the only way I can see that it goes...

Its a good size for my birds, and its very sturdy, the plastic slideout tray is in perfect condition, there is some weathering as its been outside for a long time...

I replaced those main dowels, bleached the ladder rungs, and replaced all the old rusty screws with new SS ones.

I gues this is the point where my imagination comes into play, so we will see what this thing turns into...
Im going to get some bowls for it right now, because my birds already like it and have been climbing around on it all day...

lol, so i know nobody gives a rats behind about my playstand, but I like to post about it on the internet, especially late on a saturday night after a bad beat at a poker game.....

So earlier today the stars totally aligned for me...

To make a long story short- I found a person on CL with tons of old cages, so i told my friend that runs the parrot rescue, and we went up there today and got a nice big truckload of parrot cages.

And what does that old country girl up there have in her barn.....?
Yes, a JungleTalk playgym!!

I couldnt believe my luck!
It was the same as mine but it was purple not green...
So now Ive seen another, in person, and I know exactly what Im missing...

Lol, so stupid and simple- only 2 bottom threaded bowls attach to the tabs, that is all Im missing and she bought hers new years ago... and I just bought new bowls for it!

Lol, so after all this, pretty dang lame to find out only a coupla bowls finish this thing off.
But its got lots of potential, so Im not gonna attach the bowls i bought to those tabs....
Im gonna make it a proper playstand.... with things to actually play with ;)

You may now carry on with your own useless parrot postings :)

Lol, I've been reading this thread but I've never seen this stand so couldn't help. Did you take a pic of the other stand?

I like that stand...2 levels...looks sturdy and u can hand swings or toys. Hey...I want one!

lol, so i know nobody gives a rats behind about my playstand,

Not true.
When you first posted I did my own search for info - found nothing.
When you posted the pic I searched for pics to see what it was supposed to look like and definitely spent far more time searching than I should have.

From what I saw of many similar models, it looks like yours is not set up correctly. The ladder in the middle is on backward and should be on the left side. Of course, that is simply what I think the manufacturer intended. Your reality and what works for you and your birds is really all that matters. I'm all for customization. :)

Lol, I really appreciate it MP!
I could not find one single picture of this thing.

The other one I happened to see was set up exactly how mine is, but my lower dowel is full length.
The middle ladders is made up of one main tall ladder and another angled ladder that hooks into it, it goes from front to back of the tray and up to the main dowel, and all the ladders are tilted- its not just all right on top of each other.
I guess the other ladder could go to either side, but like i said, the only difference with the other was the bowls.

I was thinking ther is some apparatus that screws into the tabs and for a play-jungle higher up.

Where did you find a picture?

Lol, front/back- the tray slides either way, right/left- there are stickers on both sides???
Here is a pic from the side closest to me ;)

Well, that's not at all what I expected and very different from everything else I came across. I didn't find any pictures of your model. I only found pictures that looked kind of similar like they might be from the same company.

I see some Vittles Vaults. They certainly aren't cheap, but aren't they best pet food containers ever?

Yes, i used to work at a pet supply wholesale warehouse.
I used to get all kindsa things for free or at "cost".
I had gotten almost a full pallet of various vittel-vaults, gave em all out to friends and such.

I actually got a lot of stuff this way...
Unfortunately my companies major dogfood line went to petco, and I got laid off....

But i have enough top-shelf canned dogfood saved-up to last till my poor old doggies eat their last bowl-full.

Now we are Talkin Jungle....
A bit of progress.. some branches, a swing, a boing, some homemade removable pvc bowls, some sisal-wrapped rails.
Now she starting to look like something.
I like how the branches turned out so seemless, no exposed cut ends, I hate that; its 3 branches screwed-n-glued.

Heres a better angle

Alright fine, one more... Trouble LOVES this thing!!
