Hello - Jackie is a 3 year old male parakeet and for some time know he has developed a large chest and rump - he also can not fly very well anymore. He go very sad for a bit and started plucking his feathers. We got him a girl friend 6 months ago and it really perked him up. He is happy, eats well and sings to his friend. Any ideas about what is wrong.
ps: last year he was frightened by a hawk that flew into our sun room, all his troubles started after this. In his panic he did fly into a wall :-(
