Weigh him regularly, check his poop and food bowl to see if he actually eats the pellets. If he doesn’t eat try crushing and soaking the pellets, then sprinkling them on top of his current diet.

Have you seen him eating the new pellets?
Yes I have seen him eating them and he's been making birdie soup with with them which I think is a good sign? . For the 1st 2 days, his water bowl remained perfectly clean, I'd even drink from it 🤣

I weigh him weekly, should I weigh him more regularly?

What should I be looking out for with his poops?

He also gets a tiny amount of seed mix and he gets his chop daily too.

I think I may just be worrying, going from a dog that had a bottleless pit of a stomach and wasn't fussy in the slightest to a bird where the slightest charge can make them stressed and upset and even ill, its just stressful!
