Okay, so I'll be the first to admit it may not be the safest thing in the world, but gosh--they come out all nice and warm, squeaky-clean and lemony-fresh!
:D

Looks like fun to me ! :)

Absolutely--it comes right before the "primp and preen" cycle!

As I think of it, this photo does illustrate one of those endearingly infuriating--or infuriatingly endearing--aspects of caiques. I suspect anyone who is owned by one or more knows this already.

Yes, they love to get into everything...but it's always on their terms. I've loaded and unloaded the dishwasher a bazillion times. Eliza and Henry have never shown the slightest bit of interest.

And then suddenly, the other day, they became obsessed with it. I was putting the last of the dishes away (don't worry--the cycle ran during the night, so it's not like it was hot in there or even warm...they'd be in their cages if that were the case). Anyway, last I saw them, they were on the barstools chattering away. I turned around to close the dishwasher, and there they were. Suddenly it was the most important thing in the world to them: I could have set off dynamite in the house and they probably wouldn't have noticed.

After taking the pics, I got them both to step up, put them on the counter, and closed the dishwasher. They spent the next five minutes staring down over the counter, trying to figure out where dad put their great new toy...
;)

Thank god Juno is still clipped from when I got her otherwise she would be everywhere. ..until she learns station they will stay clipped...

This is why we do a role call before starting the dishwasher or laundry.. Now we've got 4 of them and they're into EVERYTHING!!!
