It's been a couple days, soo, Yoshi pictures!!

I remember reading that when an ekkie makes a mess of their food, it means it's good.. so I guess the post-breakfast cleanings should be a thing of pride, yeah? Hehe. This morning he munched down on some more cooked brown rice with shredded carrots, and since I've been doing side work over the weekend and haven't been there to prepare his meals myself(aside what's already in baggies in the fridge- my dad's girlfriend usually sticks to fruits and veggies for his food, just for simplicity's sake.) he hasn't had cooked food in a couple days.. and he was having it by the beak-full!! It was nice seeing him be enthusiastic about his food.

I also noticed they moved my sister's diamond dove into the front room as well, I'm assuming to give them both some company(He was previously housed in my sister's room, where she doesn't spend much time really.) So of course we had to take him out and let him fly around the house and spread his tiny, cute wings

He had food ALL OVER his beak... ahaha.


He somehow got a down feather stuck to the top of his head... so of course I took pictures.

Edit: Yeah, I know.. shame on us for not taking pictures of Jipeto (The diamond dove.) I wasn't thinking about it for whatever reason hah.

Very cute! I love when they get a down feather on their head or beak, it looks so funny and I also love to see them beak covered in mushy I know then they are enjoying their food!

Thanks you guys! And I feel like it's similar to how people portray dogs looking at humans.. "Weird, ugly, hairless dogs that walk on two feet."
Only birds probably think we're ugly, bald birds with flimsy wings and funny looking beaks.

Thank you!! It was either that one, or one with dog bones/paws on it.. haha. I believe I got it from Petco, it's a dog food dish.. it isn't as tall(deep) as his other one, but I believe it's like 6" in diameter which is what fits in the food bowl slots.
