I just wanted to encourage folks that socializing your feathered friend, whatever species he/she is, takes time! All too often, a bird is deemed "bad" because he's not been given proper time to socialize. Don't give up on your birds, some take more time than others to respond. My little Peep adjusts more each day. At first he only wanted to be with me - but after 8 months of consistently working with him and socializing, he goes to everyone (even his former arch enemy).
Don't give up! The dividends of a well-socialized bird are worth all the effort.
